Access to the registry key “HKLM\Software\Relyon Softech Ltd\Saral Office\Settings” is denied.

Error Message:

Causes:

  1. Logged on user may not be an administrator.
  2. You may not have sufficent permissions to read/write the system registry.
  3. Launch the application as “Run as administrator”.
  4. The path shown in the error message is not having Full control permission to modify the registry keys.

Solution 1: Give Full Control permission to the SYSTEM account & EVERYONE.

  1. Start > Run > regedit
  2. Navigate to the “HKLM\Software\Relyon Softech Ltd\Saral Office\Settings”
  3. Right click > Permissions > Give Full Control permission to the SYSTEM account & EVERYONE.

Solution 2: 

Log off current user and login as administrator.
