Workaround 1:

The problem is with the self extractor. While downloading Antivirus stripped out some info on the autorun.inf file. So the self extractor stopped at that point and threw the error.

Workaround 2:

Open Group Policy… Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | OK | Navigate to Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment\Debug programs

The account through which we are trying to run the setup should be here ( besides the local admin on that machine.

Workaround 3:

SQL Server installation requires Administrator priviliges so Log on as Administrator.
