Error:
Saral IncomeTax has stopped working.
Snapshot:
Causes:
- Logged on user may not be an administrator
- Check “dbtype” string value in this registry path. For MS Access backend – ACC97 and for MS SQL Server backend – MSSQL2005.
- .NET framework may not be enabled [This is appicable only for Windows Vista and higher version operating systems]
- RelReg05.dll component may be missing or may not be registered.
- .Net Framework might be corrupted.
- Application might be corrupted.
Workaround 1:
- Click start > Run > type regedit
- Navigate to below path.
- Check “dbtype” string value in this registry path.
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Relyon Softech Ltd\IncomeTax\SETTINGS\
- For MS Access backend – ACC97 and for MS SQL Server backend – MSSQL2005
Workaround 2:
- Click start > Run > type regedit
- Navigate to below path.
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Relyon Softech Ltd\IncomeTax\SETTINGS\
- Open LastFile1 key from the registry – Delete the entry.
Workaround 3:
- Right-click on Income Tax shortcut > Properties > Click “Advanced”
- Select Checkbox for “Run as administrator” to run the program always as administrator.
Workaround 4:
- Open command prompt as Administrator
- Regsvr32 /u “C:\RelyonSoft\SaralIncomeTax\RelReg05.dll”
- Click Enter to Unregister
- Regsvr32 “C:\RelyonSoft\SaralIncomeTax\RelReg05.dll”
- Click Enter to register it again.
Workaround 5:
Log Off current user and login as an Administrator.
Workaround 6:
Restart the Relyon license manager service in server system – In Service control panel check the status of the Relyon License Manager service.
- Click > Start > run
- Type services.msc
- Right click on Relyon License Manager service
- Restart the service.
Workaround 7:
- Open control panel, click Add\Remove Programs and uninstall the .NET Framework.
- Re-Install the .NET Framework.
- Run .NET Framework cleanup tool Download: dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
- Navigate to [C:\Windows] folder and rename folder assembly & Microsoft.NET to assemblyOld, Microsoft.NETOld
- Later Install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP1
Workaround 9:
- Open control panel, click Add\Remove Programs and uninstall Saral IncomeTax.
- Clean the application path. [Take backup of Data & License files]
- Re-Install Saral IncomeTax And make sure that you are running the setup as Run as Administrator.
Workaround 10:
You must use “Turn Windows features on or off” in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1″
- Go to: start/control panel/programs and features
- On the top left you should see “Turn windows features on or off” click on that
- Find “Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1″ when the window opens
- Click the + sign next to it to expand it so you can now see:
“Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation”
“Windows Communication Foundation HTTP non-Activation” - Make sure there is a tick in both boxes and select OK.
