Workaround 1:

Use Windows Installer cleanup utility to remove the software and later try to install the software.

Workaround 2:

Check if the Installer Service is running. To do so, follow these steps.

1. Click Start, Click Run and type “Services.msc” (without quotes) and press Enter.
2. Double-click Windows Installer.
3. Set the Startup type of Windows Installer to Manual.
4. Click Start to start the service. Note down the error message if any. Click OK.
