{"id":1010,"date":"2012-09-25T04:49:51","date_gmt":"2012-09-25T04:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/techsupport.relyonsoft.in\/?p=1010"},"modified":"2014-04-23T10:05:42","modified_gmt":"2014-04-23T10:05:42","slug":"error-in-reading-hardware-lock-so-currently-program-will-work-in-trial-mode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relyonsoft.in\/techsupport\/error-in-reading-hardware-lock-so-currently-program-will-work-in-trial-mode\/","title":{"rendered":"Error in reading hardware lock, so currently program will work in Trial mode."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Error:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Error in reading hardware lock, so currently program will work in Trial mode.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Snapshot<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/techsupport.relyonsoft.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/HardwareLockErr1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1012\" title=\"HardwareLockErr\" src=\"http:\/\/techsupport.relyonsoft.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/HardwareLockErr1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Causes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The firewall on the server has refused the connection.<\/li>\n<li>Test network connection.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that you are able to connect Server using the Telnet command.<\/li>\n<li>Relyon License manager service on server system might be stopped\/disabled.<\/li>\n<li>Check whether you can access share folder of server computer.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve DNS cache.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are registering \u00a0the software from Hardware Lock.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Insert USB dongle in server system.<\/li>\n<li>Install SoftDogDriver [Separate setup is there for Windows 7] in client and server system.<\/li>\n<li>Copy SoftDog.dll &amp; win32.dll to application path.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Disable the firewall<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click Start &gt; Run<\/li>\n<li>type firewall.cpl &gt; make it Off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 3:\u00a0<\/strong>Test network connection<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start &gt; Run &gt; type cmd<\/li>\n<li>type PING &lt;ServerIPAddress&gt;<\/li>\n<li>Click Enter.<\/li>\n<li>if successful, ping returns the ip address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 4:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start &gt; Run &gt; type cmd<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0type IPCONFIG \/FLUSHDNS.<\/li>\n<li>Click Enter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 5:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start &gt; Run &gt; type services.msc<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0Relyon License manager service<\/li>\n<li>Restart the service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution 6:\u00a0<\/strong>Unregister &amp; Re-register the\u00a0MSWINSCK.OCX<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Navigate to [C:\\Windows\\System32] folder &amp;<\/li>\n<li>search for MSWINSCK.OCX file<\/li>\n<li>Open command prompt as administrator.<\/li>\n<li>type Regsvr32 \/ u &#8220;C:\\Windows\\System32\\MSWINSCK.OCX&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click Enter to Unregister.<\/li>\n<li>type Regsvr32 &#8220;C:\\Windows\\System32\\MSWINSCK.OCX&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click Enter to Register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Error: Error in reading hardware lock, so currently program will work in Trial mode.
