Clean the .NET Framework components completely from control panel and Follow the below 10 steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Open control panel, click Add\\Remove Programs and uninstall the .NET Framework.<\/li>\n
  2. Run .NET Framework cleanup Utility to clean the .NET Framework components completely.Download:\u00a0.NET Framework cleanup tool<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. If it prompts for System restart then restart it<\/li>\n
  4. Navigate to Windows folder: “C:\\Windows\\”<\/li>\n
  5. Rename folder “assembly<\/strong>” to “assembly1<\/strong>“<\/li>\n
  6. Rename folder “Microsoft<\/strong>.NET<\/strong>” to “Microsoft.NET1<\/strong>“<\/li>\n
  7. Open registry: Click Start | Run | type regedit.exe | Click OK.<\/li>\n
  8. Navigate To: “HKLM\\Software\\Microsoft” registry<\/li>\n
  9. Delete\u00a0.NETFramework<\/strong>\u00a0key<\/li>\n
  10. Install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP1.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Workaround<\/strong> 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    <\/strong>\u00a0[For Windows Vista or Windows 7 or Window 8]<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You must use \u201cTurn Windows features on or off\u201d in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1\u2033<\/p>\n

    1. Go to: start\/control panel\/programs and features<\/li>\n
    2. On the top left you should see \u201cTurn windows features on or off\u201d click on that<\/li>\n
    3. Find \u201cMicrosoft .NET framework 3.5.1\u2033 when the window opens<\/li>\n
    4. Click the + sign next to it to expand it so you can now see:

      \n\u201cWindows Communication Foundation HTTP non-Activation\u201d<\/li>\n
