Causes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Application is not compatible with the operating system.<\/li>\n
  2. Turn on Data Execution Prevention [DEP] for Essential Windows Programs and Services.<\/li>\n
  3. Need to repair Microsoft data access components [MDAC].<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Solution 1:\u00a0<\/strong>Program compatible might be set to some lower editions of Windows OS.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Right click on the Program.<\/li>\n
    2. Click on Properties.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on “Compatibility” tab.<\/li>\n
    4. \u201cUncheck\u201d the Run this program in compatibility mode.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Apply and OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Solution 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Turn on DEP<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Right click My Computer > Click Advanced > Click Performance Settings.<\/li>\n
      2. In Visual Effects tab Select \u201cLet windows choose what\u2019s best for my computer.<\/li>\n
      3. In Data Execution Prevention tab select \u201cTurn on DEP for essential Windows Programs and services only”.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Solution 3:\u00a0<\/strong>Re-Install the MDAC<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Navigate to C:\\Windows\\Inf \u00a0folder.<\/li>\n
        2. Search for mdac.inf file.<\/li>\n
        3. Right click mdac.inf and Click Install.<\/li>\n
        4. When installation wizard prompts for each of the following files, try to browse and locate them in the directories specified.\n

          • adcjavas.inc \u2013 C:\\Windows\\servicepackfiles\\i386<\/li>\n
          • handler.reg \u2013 C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\System\\msadc<\/li>\n
          • MDACRdMe.htm \u2013 C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\System\\Ado<\/li>\n
          • oledbjvs.inc \u2013 C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\System\\Ole DB<\/li>\n
          • mssoap1.dll \u2013 C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\MSSoap\\Binaries<\/li>\n
          • mssoapr.dll \u2013 C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\MSSoap\\Binaries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • If the required files are not there, you are required to copy OLE DB, msadc, Ole DB and Binaries folders from another computer and place them in the C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\System32 folder.<\/li>\n
